September 16 marks ACA’s inaugural Advocacy Day – an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the coatings industry’s contributions to the built economy and talk with the Capitol Hill offices that represent our headquarters, facilities and employees. Join this free ACA webinar that will share tools to employ that will help legislators and their staff understand our contributions as well as the issues that impact our industry.
Every ACA member plays a vital role in ensuring that the coatings industry’s voice is heard on Capitol Hill.ÌýDuring this webinar, ACA’s Government Affairs team will provide an in-depth overview of the association’s key policy priorities and advocacy messages, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to have meaningful conversations with members of Congress and their staff.ÌýIn anticipation of over 80 meetings on Capitol Hill, ACA will use a customized mobile app which contains the schedule as well as other useful tools.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an increasingly important topic in the paint and coatings industry. This free webinar will explore how AI is already being applied in formulation development, business process improvement, and improving factory efficiency through smart factory concepts.ÌýNotably, some of the specific areas where AI is being used is in suggesting starting point formulations, processing of purchase and sales orders, predictive quality control, predictive maintenance, increased automation, digital inspection, and the use of digital twins.ÌýThis webinar will address each of these applications, consider emerging developments in AI, and what they could mean for the future of the paint and coatings industry.

The PaintCare program is expanding beyond architectural coatings in some states. Join this free webinar to learn more about new stewardship legislation that is adding aerosol coatings, non-industrial coatings, and coatings-related products to PaintCare’s program in Vermont and California, and aerosol coatings to PaintCare’s ÌýConnecticut program. During this webinar, attendees will learn about manufacturer, distributor, and retailer roles and responsibilities under these stewardship programs, including product registration, fee remittal, and education.
